As the year draws to a close, we’re filled with anticipation for what’s next in the commercial truck industry. 2024 has been a remarkable year, shaped by the incredible efforts of the Commercial Truck Trader team, along with our dealer and OEM partners. It’s also been a year of major accomplishments, valuable insights, and game-changing innovations. To honor the progress and dedication of the past 12 months, we’re highlighting five key business achievements from 2024 and exploring how these milestones are setting the stage for even greater success in the year ahead.

1. Remained the Preferred Motorcycle Marketplace Nationwide

In 2024, Commercial Truck Trader averaged 2.49M visits a month, generating about 106K leads and connections each month. From September 2023 to August 2024, that added up to 1.2M  leads and connections for our dealers. What truly set us apart in 2024 was our unmatched reach, with an average of  87% of our visitors who did not visit other motorcycle marketplaces

Commercial Truck Trader’s powerful market reach, paired with our unique advertising products, helped dealers showcase their listings to the right buyers, boosting their reach and generating more leads. This success not only drove results throughout the year but also kept dealers top of mind for consumers heading into the new year.

2. Industry-Leading Product Innovation

We’re always working to enhance our tools to help our dealer partners succeed, and 2024 continued this vision through our latest innovations. Our latest product, Xenara, is a digital advertising agency that offers custom media and audience solutions. It takes your listings beyond our marketplaces, reaching high-quality buyers across key digital touchpoints.

We also made some updates to our existing tools. Lead Manager now includes enhanced data in a more user-friendly interface, making it easier to follow up with leads. Plus, our updated Customizable Auto Selector uses search data to recommend the best units for enhancements, helping you get the highest return on investment and boosting listing performance.

3. Increased Brand Visibility Across Channels

We had an exciting year connecting with dealers and OEMs at major events like, including the Work Truck Show, International Used Truck Forum, and Used Truck Association Convention. Additionally, Trader Interactive, our parent brand, achieved over 198 press pickups and reached more than 1 billion unique visitors per month across our portfolio. Our strong presence at key industry tradeshows amplified our brand visibility even further– driving more attention to our dealer network and expanding our reach.

Our consumers were tuned in throughout 2024, as Commercial Truck Trader saw a 10.4% increase in social followers year over year and retained  147K active email subscribers for our Hot Deals email series. This growth shows that our brand awareness is strong, further shining a light on dealer inventory and reinforcing the value of our platform.

5. Premium Advertising Solutions for Our Partners

Today’s consumers value a convenient shopping experience, so our goal has been to make that experience as seamless as possible for both buyers and dealers. That’s why, in 2023, we launched Premium Select, our most powerful advertising enhancement to date. It’s been a game changer, driving impressive growth for our dealer partners throughout the past year.

Premium Select Ads provide significantly more impact by elevating selected units to the very top of the Search Results Page, above all other standard listings and traditional Premium Ads. The results speak for themselves: dealers using Premium Select see 11x more vehicle detail page views than standard ads.
